Vacancy: JAGORI requires Program Associate- Violence Intervention Team
TERMS OF REFERENCE
Support women facing violence, who come to the JAGORI drop-in centre for help, with counselling from a feminist perspective, help in registering cases with the police, and referrals to medical, legal and other services Work with the team to strengthen working relationships with police and other relevant service providers and ensure timely and efficient response to survivors of violence; Maintain partnerships as per the team’s plan and strategy; Provide inputs for intervention in advocacy and campaigns; Undertake trainings on issues of VAW, laws and other issues; Ensure due reporting and documentation; Represent JAGORI at meetings as mandated by the organisation/ team Any other tasks as required by the organisation.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION/ SKILLS/ QUALITIES
Should be a graduate in law, with:-
Minimum of 2 years experience in working on issues related to violence against women
Research and analytical skills
Communication and documentation skills
Fluency in written and spoken Hindi and English
Commitment to a minimum of two years of working with the organisation

Scholorship: The Irom Sharmila Scholarship, set up in honour of Irom Sharmila’s fight for democracy and constitutional values, is open to any graduate student studying in any university/college in Delhi in any subject who comes from an area with internal armed conflict. Preference will be given to those who come from AFSPA affected areas, have suffered under AFSPA or similar laws or can demonstrate financial need. The scholarship is a lump sum of Rs. 50,000,awarded once a year. The scholarship jury will comprise of faculty from different universities in Delhi.
